Name: The Avenger
Age: 29
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 213 lbs
Hometown: Baltimore, Maryland, Earth #616
Twitter: @theavenger616
Wrestlers Gimmick: Savior of the Multiverse. A superhero who may not be very bright but has a big heart.
Picture Base: Hurricane Helms
Entrance Music: "Holding Out for a Hero" by Bonnie Tyler
Entrance Description: The lights go out as Bonnie Tyler's "Holding Out For A Hero" begins to play, with spotlights searching the rafters for the hero.
Where have all the good men gone
And where are all the gods?
Where's the street-wise Hercules
To fight the rising odds?
Finally every light converges onto the ramp, and the color turns to green with the symbol of the Avenger appearing on the video wall.
Isn't there a white knight upon a fiery steed?
Late at night I toss and I turn, I dream of what I need
Right as Bonnie says, "I need a hero!", The Avenger races out on a stylish green and black motorcycle, with his logo plastered on the front. He circles the ring with it, passing by the announce tables and fans, before parking it back on the ramp and hopping off. He then leaps up on to the apron and darts up the turnbuckle, holding out a big thumbs up for the audience before jumping back into the ring to prepare for his match.
Move Set: Standard cruiserweight stuff. anything flippy, diving, etc. Although if he thinks he can (on opponents of similar build or smaller), he'll use power moves to show off his "super strength". He tries to avoid striking if possible, but if not, he'll use kicks.
Double foot stomp off the top rope.
Calf Crusher
Springboard flying uppercut
Standing shiranui
Handstand headscissors takedown
Schoolboy roll-up into a headkick
Hurricanrana
Springboard Hurricanrana
Leaping clothesline
spinning neckbreaker
snap suplex
suicide dive
Release suplex
Running forearm smash
Springboard forearm
diving forearm to kneeling opponent
standing moonsault
Signature Moves:
Chokeslam - on opponents the same size or smaller. He'll try this on bigger opponents but it usually doesn't work out for him.
Caped Crusade - Usually caped, Avenger gets a lot of height on a flying body press, slamming down on a standing opponent with all of his weight to send them back to the mat.
Finisher(s):
Superhero Kick - Standard superkick
Superhero Landing: A leaping fist drop to the face off the top, with Avenger landing in the traditional "Superhero Pose".
Infinite Crisis - Tetsuya Naito's "Destino", starts at back of opponent, grabs the arm and the head, then floats around to drop the opponent on the back of their head with a reverse DDT.
Biography: After saving the multiverse and his friends, our hero The Avenger has to figure out what to do with himself now that he no longer has access to other dimensions. Can he only stop street crime? Is there weirdness on OUR Earth for him to find? Who knows? But he'll do that and also wrestle sometimes!
