Breaking up is hard to do...

This is the hardest thing I've ever had to do.

The moments we shared.

The times we had.

I thought you were the one.

There was a time when I couldn’t imagine my life without you standing by my side.

A time when a future without you seemed devoid of light.

I don’t even know where to begin.

I can’t begin to say where it all started to go wrong.

I’m unable to pinpoint the beginning of the end.

All I know is the end has arrived.

I know you’re strong and will survive. You’ve always been the rock.

It’s me I’m worried about.

Fortunately, these Trials have given me a new perspective. A new strength. A new future.

So, Greggers...Greggy...Greg of mine...it’s been great and, well, I’ll catch you on down the line.

~Welsh paused, staring down at the tiled floor under his feet~

“Hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. But, I’ve got to be a man about it.”

~He cleared his throat and reached forward, grabbing the mouse next to his keyboard. Sliding it forward he looked at the screen for a second~



~He moved the mouse down and hit send. The email fired off. Welsh sighed~

“Wow, that was tough. Breaking up is nasty business. Anyway...let’s see what’s next on today’s agenda…”

~Welsh went back to reviewing his Draft Notes as we fade out~
