Got a few things to go over before we get to the ‘review’ portion of this post.

First, I took the suggestions from last show’s review into consideration and really worked to try and shorten these matches. I’m all for cutting back 2-3k if that makes the show more enjoyable for you guys (less work for me). So, curious to see how this one flowed...I think, ironically, the matches got shorter as they progressed. Weird. But that’s how it went down.

Also, to shorten things up, I gave people who did not provide an entrance on their app a very brief entrance in the show. Those who provided one, you got the entrance you wrote in your app. So, if you’d like a more detailed entrance, add it to your bio for next show.

I also worked on normalizing the elements a bit. Taking some of the supernatural stuff out of it...making it more of a ‘wrestling’ show in a strange atmosphere. So, curious to see what you all thought.

I hope you all enjoyed the show and take a few days to let it marinate and settle in. I’m not gonna be around much over the next week...part real world, part I just need a break from all this for a while. You’ll definitely hear from me again on TRIAD Radio next week. What was the best match?
Bacchus/Adams vs Watson/ALIAS - I loved the dynamics of this match, the psychology of the characters felt right (I dont know ALIAS enough to know if he was right but it felt like it to me?) - The way it all fell apart to the finish was great.

What was the best spot?
The end of Vhodka/Dio vs. Seb/Knox - An interesting and very heel performance from Vhodka, hedging her bets on beating Knox rather than having to beat Dio, further builds into his mystique, and yet another pinfall for Knox that has an asterisk. That bloke can't catch a break, can he? Damn Triumviwankers.

What was the best segment?
McCallumanigans - What's he up to?

What was the best line(s) of commentary?
There are a plethora of doozies, but -

Welsh: Death via erotic asphyxiation...I think that’s how Knox would like to go, honestly.

Welsh: I hope the TRIAD burns his dick off.

The constant references to Dionysus being the XWF TV Champion.. even though I think he lost it..

Best moment of the show?
I think this is the same for the best and most shocking - Warstein's arrival, his call out, Dickie's reaction, throwing the belt at Bacchus, all of that. I'm probably biased because it centres around a world I had a hand building, but it was really well executed and everyone left looking strong.

Most shocking moment of the show?
Above.

Suggestions?
I don't know if I would have done anything differently. Maybe give Dickie a rulebook because he never has a fucking clue how to win the matches.

Anything else you'd like to add:
To your post, I'd say that the matches didn't feel lacking due to their shorter length - if you wouldn't have mentioned it then I wouldn't have noticed, you did a great job of making all of them feel important and special and none of them felt overly short.

I think the show felt better "to me", personal opinion, as a result of reigning in of the supernatural stuff. And we still saw glimpses of it and it felt like it didn't lose the lustre of this being a supernatural setting. I guess it ultimately depends on how you utilise the supernatural, in the sense of whether it makes someone look silly or how it impacts the narrative. On Night 5, it was used to enable Dadbod to get the unexpected win, so in that respect it makes sense and I hope you aren't overly dissuaded from using it where it makes sense in the future. But this show did feel 'better' in that regard.

I'd say this is one of my favourite shows of both seasons, it just seemed to flow well and everyone looked good unless I've overlooked something.

I’d give this show a solid 8.75. All the matches flowed really well and there were SEGMENTS!!!! Yay everyone, keep up the hard work and good effort.

What was the best match?
To me it was the main event. A carefully crafted story within the match and made everyone look like superstars.

What was the best spot?
Personally it was me Paul Walker’ing Strat, if you don’t get that reference it’s from the first Fast and Furious Movie. “I almost had you!”

What was the best segment?
I liked the Raven segment and the Cat one right before the match.

What was the best line(s) of commentary?
Anytime someone takes a jab at Bent Fork I’ll chuckle.

MoMo: It’s been a long time coming but finally it appears Knox is being neutered.

Welsh: Actually, this is what they call ‘courtship’ in Bent Fork.

MoMo: Remind me never to go there.

Welsh: I don’t have to...the stench of that place carries for miles. One whiff and you’ll make an instant detour

Best moment of the show?
There were quite a few but I don’t want to make anyone feel as if I don’t appreciate it. The show was filled with best moments and no one should feel bad about outcomes.

Most shocking moment of the show?
Shrug. I don’t know if I would call anything shocking.

Suggestions?
Moar Segments. Let’s make Will work for a good flow of the show!

If you’re concerned about segments, the one I gave him that involved a match he made work seamlessly. He offered suggestions to improve it and made it work. So seriously if you have an idea for a segment toss it out there, he will definitely talk with you and get it hammered out so everyone is happy.

I didn't make it to deadline with this, but I think it's still earlier than last time? Progress!

How would you rate Night 6 on a scale of 1-100?
7.33 (out of 10! Not 100!) - good read. Feels like we're building which is great. Matches were a bit more digestible for me, so awesome work not sacrificing anything quality-wise. Good to see some more segments. Now to start building more tension and interpersonal stories with them (that's what I'd love us all to do, not just the staff!)

What was the best match?
Mancini/Stratford/Cortes/Dadbod - just good 4-way logic where I think everyone got something.

What was the best spot?
Sarah Wolf's big fall in the main event. The stipulation really needed something like that, and she got beast-moded to come back and win.

What was the best segment?
Hackerman I guess. What I liked was that it had implications for what was next - ie the fan vote for points in the main event. As I read other people's rps, I hope someone picked that up and was mad as hell!

What was the best line(s) of commentary?

I thought the presentation of Harvey Marx was cool in this one. Made him look like a hoss even in defeat.

How would you rate Night 6 on a scale of 1-100? I dunno, 85. I thought it was very good, maybe I should bring in bad efed results and be like here, these are a 3.

What was the best match?

Vhodka/Dionysus vs Knox/SEB - I dig tag matches being thrown in to break up all the four-way matches. With the team/point dynamics going in, there's a lot of drama to tap into, and unique situations like Vhodka helping eliminate her own partner because she would rather not fight Dionysus.

What was the best spot?

Harvey Macguyvering together a torch and metal rod with shoelaces since he's too big for a ladder. Some more drama from the match stipulation, Harvey trying a unique solution and also doing crowd work to get shoelaces in the first place, very on brand.

What was the best segment?

Alexander Raven staking a claim to the Wit Triad(piece?), I love Raven being a throughline from the Bravery Trials and hope he snags the number one spot for Wit and then just beats everyone unless I'm in it, I guess.

Dunno if you could consider a segment, but the opening recap of Night 5's drama, with the flames erasing the losers and leaving the winners behind was a cool callback to the fire-breathing end to night one.

What was the best line(s) of commentary?

Welsh: If ALIAS keeps smoking he’s going to die of lung cancer before this match ends.

Why is everyone smoking now, the kids are vaping.

Best moment of the show?

Warstein popping in to hype Liberation Frequency was cool, also is he the only handler to have three characters pop up on Trials shows?

Most shocking moment of the show?

Spencer Adams almost ends Alias, then walks right into a Fatality uppercut. Dude, play literally any incarnation of Mortal Kombat. I'm a big fan of strike finishers anyway, because they can generally be hit on anyone out of anywhere and are literal bangers. Because hitting.

Suggestions? Presumably next season is gonna have more match variations, depending on how teams shake out, and I hope that continues. I'm just not sure where else to go. If you did a full on 3v3 or 4v4 match, it would probably tie up too many people for one show, but I'm sure you guys have batted the logistics around.

Anything else you'd like to add: The setting and main event stipulations this season are giving me more Tomb Raider vibes than Indiana Jones but I ain't complaining.
