TEAM WELSH UPDATE

~Inside a temporary setup for the TRIAD offices in Cambodia, we see interim Team Welsh leader, Leo, seated behind a table looking more somber than usual~

Leo: Are we on?

Voice: We’re live, Leo.

Leo: Oh, okay. Hello TRIAD Triangulers. It’s been quite a ride, hasn’t it?

~He awaits a reaction but there’s nobody in there. Get your shit together, Leo~

Leo: Right. Well, it’s come to my attention that this past week one of my team members was unaware of the stipulations heading into their match. Sahara did not know the tag match was elimination style and, therefore, was blindsided early on and wound up leaving with zero points. A miscommunication that cost her and Team Welsh greatly.

~Leo shakes his head, disappointed~

Leo: As interim team manager, I feel it is my duty to work to ensure this does not happen again in Angkor Wat. So, with that being said, effective immediately, Marcus Welsh will be banned from the event location on New Year’s Eve.

~That’s a bit of a surprise~

Leo: Marcus is here to say a few things before we leave.

~Welsh steps in~

Welsh: It was my job to take care of my team, especially Sahara. I drafted this team knowing they needed guidance, especially Sahara. And, well, I failed them from the very outset, especially Sahara. It’s clear my continued presence is a distraction for my team. I accept this elevated suspension and will root for Team Welsh from a different location.

~He looks into the camera~

Welsh: And to you, my champ. I’m sorry I failed you.

~Welsh lowers his head and exits~

Leo: That’s all we’ve got. We look forward to finishing these Trials off on New Year’s Even. Thank you.

Voice:  New Year's Even?

Leo:  Yes, December 32nd at 6:65pm

Voice:  ...

~Leo laughs~

Leo:  I'm just messing with ya!

Voice: Oh, okay.  One more thing...what about Dale?

~Leo looks confused…but he answers~

Leo: RIP Dale.
