Wit Trials is all about connectivity. Current. Each match will play a role in the next match, or the main event, throughout the Trials.
Read the stipulations. Or don't. But it's probably best if you do.
Concerned how all this will work? Don't be. I'll make it work. Why? Because I can.
Night 9 – Paris, France
Match 1 – Winner picks an advantage/disadvantage for 1 wrestler in Match 2
Match 2 – Winner picks an advantage/disadvantage for 1 wrestler in Match 3
Match 3 – Winner picks an advantage/disadvantage for 1 wrestler in the Main Event
Main Event – Penalty Box Match
The main event stipulation is as follows...three wrestlers. There’s a wooden penalty box. If a wrestler goes inside and the door is shut, they must remain in there for three minutes. First wrestler to secure a pinfall/submission/knockout wins and gets to light a Wit Amulet.
Night 10 – Manhattan
Match 1 – pick an item for the main event
Match 2 – pick an item for the main event
Match 3 – pick an item for the main event
Main Event – House of Mirrors
House of Mirrors is a match that takes place inside a steel structure (think elimination chamber). Instead of pods you have ‘chambers’. Each chamber is blocked off by a mirror. To get into the chamber you must break through the mirror. Inside 3 of the chambers are weapons/items selected by the winners of the three previous matches. Inside the 4th is a Wit Amulet. In order to win, the Wit Amulet must be obtained and returned into the ring where it will be lit.
Night 11 – Chicago
The Big Ticket Event
A one-night match involving all 12 participants. Details to be revealed.
Night 12 – Colorado Springs
Match 1 – Winner can stick around for next match to help/harm.
March 2 – Winner can stick around for next match to help/harm.
Match 3 – Winner can stick around for next match to help/harm.
Main Event – Hazardous Ladder Match
Four ladders around ringside. Three are faulty. One is true. Pick the true ladder, climb it, and obtain the Wit Amulet. First one to do so wins and lights the Wit Amulet.
Finals – Niagara Falls
A friend pitched this 'FLOAT MATCH' idea. I liked it, but I'm tweaking it. Four rings will float down Niagara falls, toward the fall. First ring, second ring, third ring, fourth ring in that order. When one match ends, the two wrestlers that lost will be removed. The winner can choose to leave or they can try to get to the next ring (or any of the other rings, for that matter). The event goes until the fourth match ends...each ring continuing to float toward Niagara Falls.
Match 1 – Ladder – retrieve Night 9 Amulet
Winner gives their partner a 30 sec head start. Runner up team member gets a 30 sec head start over last place.
Match 2 – Caged Ladder – retrieve Night 10 Amulet
Winner gives their partner a 30 sec head start. Runner up team member gets a 30 sec head start over last place.
Match 3 – Cell – retrieve Night 11 Amulet (wrapped to top of cell via barbed wire)
Winner gives their partner a 30 sec head start. Runner up team member gets a 30 sec head start over last place.
Match 4 – Cube – retrieve Final Amulet (secured to top of Cube on the outside)
Winner gives their partner a 30 sec head start. Runner up team member gets a 30 sec head start over last place. Winner of each match remains in their ring and can try to get to the other match if they dare the waters.
THE CUBE is basically a cell but instead of chained link fencing it's a giant, thick plexiglass see through CUBE. There's a small square hole at the top for people to crawl in and out of with a rope hanging down to grab onto.
If you have any questions about this you can hit me up when I get back. I'll be out of town until Feb 2nd. I hate you all.
Much love,
Me
