Welsh wakes up in front of a local tavern. It’s got the initials ‘OCW’ but there’s no explanation as to the words the acronym represents.
Leo stands at the door and pulls it open. Welsh thanks him, stepping inside.
To his right he sees Maurako, Cyanide, and Paras shooting pool. Paras is talking about something complex. Cyanide and Mario are listening. They toss him a nod of their head.
Over near the Golden Tee machine he sees Ricky and Randy Valdez. They stop what they are doing and look over their shoulders, smiling his way.
Marcus approaches the bar. Annie Alvarez greets him, “Took you long enough.”
“Where am I?”
“What are you drinking?” she asks, ignoring the question.
“Uhh...Gin and Tonic?”
She winks, “I figured.”
“Is that who I think it is?!” A familiar voice booms from the back.
Annie yells out, “Yep. He JUST made it.”
“Just made what?”
She slides him his drink, “Stop asking so many questions and go see them. They’ve been waiting on you for awhile.”
Welsh snares his drink and heads toward the table. He’s greeted by Scott Syren, Silverfreak, Curt Canon, and Lurrr. Lurrr kicks the chair out, Welsh sits.
“Well look who finally decided to show up!” Lurrr remarks.
Marcus sips his drink and looks over at Silverfreak. Freak smiles, “Hey buddy.”
He turns his eyes toward Syren. “Sup big dawg,” Syren shoots back.
His eyes land on Curt. “They got unlimited High Life up here, man!”
One more look around at the friendly faces. This feels like home.
Lurrr reaches out and ruffles his hair a bit.
“So, what ya been up to?”
Welsh finishes his sip and leans forward, “Guys. So I came up with this new match concept involving a pyramid.”
Syren leans back, “Ah shit, here he goes again!”
Freak laughs.
Curt throws his arms up, “Hey, I’m retired!” His eyes dart back and forth causing the table to laugh.
Lurrr sighs, “Alright, alright. Tell us about your fuckin pyramid scheme.”
Annie Alvarez starts to remove a few chairs. Welsh stops her, “Hold up. We got a few more coming. They’ll get here eventually.”
“Sure thing,” she smiles, leaving the chairs where they are.
Welsh excitedly explains his last great concept as we pull back from the scene getting a view of all the friendly faces from his past. We fade out.
