Hope you all enjoyed the first TRIAD show! If you haven't already seen the results they can be found here.
We'd love it if you all left a review. I'm going to post a small form for you to fill out. You can do that or you can just leave your thoughts, however long, in this thread!
We look forward to bringing you Night 2 of the Bravery Trials in 2 weeks! Thanks so much for all the work you have put into TRIAD!
How would you rate Night 1 on a scale of 1-10? What was the best match? What was the best spot? What was the best segment? What was the best line(s) of commentary? Best moment of the show? Most shocking moment of the show? Suggestions? Anything else you'd like to add:
How would you rate Night 1 on a scale of 1-10? *Thinks for a second* "I give it uh…10! A 10! A fuckin' 10!"
What was the best match? Hmmmm…as much as I'd like to say the Main Event, I think Match 2 between Knox, Strat, and Helena stole it. The way it was executed was very very well done. It did not go at all how I expected it to.
What was the best spot? Probably the way Cortes ended her match. Her hitting the Marlowe Massacre on Sarah, right as she's about to get the win via ref stoppage. Clever bit of writing that was.
What was the best segment? Clearly Team PIC…clearly lol
What was the best line(s) of commentary? The Penelope Got Her Soul Back line fell strictly in the 'It's so bad it's good' category for me lmao
Best moment of the show? I laughed the most with LC's antics getting the crowd involved in his weed inspired comeback.
Most shocking moment of the show? To me it would probably have to be Helena taking the chair shot for her Dad.
Suggestions? I know it's hard to do triple threat matches as there are only so many things you can do with them. The only thing I noticed was how it seemed like one person was taken out in every match to allow for a more concise one on one sub story to play out. Match 2 did this the best with Strat purposely hiding and causing confusion. The other three not so much, however I will say all four matches felt and read completely different so it was enjoyable the whole way through.
Anything else you'd like to add: This more to everyone in general, but I want to thank you all for being open to Penelope and her weirdness. Even the Twitter banter has been top shelf. So often I find it hard to generate a back and forth with others. Usually the fedheads are super into Penelope but the other handlers not so much which creates a bit of a disconnect. Also, I appreciated how she came across in the match. It was close to how I originally envisioned Penelope being portrayed action wise which has been hit or miss depending on where she's been. I am very excited to see what we all create up with in the weeks to come.

Appreciate the feedback! Really enjoyed your work this week and thrilled you liked the portrayal of Penelope!

How would you rate Night 1 on a scale of 1-10? That’s a weird scale….. I’m going to go out of 100 because I’m different and it allows me to be more focused on details and allows the cards to be subject to further scrutiny. So this one is going to get an 88. Simply because it’s the first go round and some points felt very samey.
What was the best match? Helena, Knox and Strat. It was well written and the story within the story was superb.
What was the best spot? For me personally it was watching Lewis constantly kick Penelope with the only move he can do perfectly, over and over again . With little to no acknowledgment from Penelope. It showed that Lewis wasn’t scared but was at the same time and that Penelope is a beast in her own right.
What was the best segment? Opening segment by far. It sets the standard for the rest of the show.
What was the best line(s) of commentary? When Leo got handcuffed to the table early in the show and then had to be uncuffed when the flames were approaching. The continuity really brought those two moments together
Best moment of the show? Ego speaking: Lewis almost pulling it off. NonEgo: The reveal of the Vices. Thad’s and Penolpes were extremely personal and then there’s Lewis.
Most shocking moment of the show? Knox pinning Helena and Strat walking away with just one point.
Suggestions? As I said to Jess, I love but hate the slow roll format. If there was a way to bookmark it so when you click you can just jump to where you left off, otherwise not much.
Anything else you'd like to add: If anyone has any questions about writing an LCP Match please contact Will at your earliest convenience. Since the inception of LCP only three people have been tasked with writing LCP. Myself, AJ and the man who got first crack Will. He has brought the bumbling buffoon to life in the ring. If you’ve had any hesitation about how you’ll be portrayed, Will will do right by you.

Appreciate the feedback, buddy! It's always a joy to write LCP. The more unique the character the more unique the match.
How would you rate Night 1 on a scale of 1-10? 9 because clearly my team should have won every match and Big Gov is against us.
What was the best match? My match because I was in it. But also the Strat, Helen, Knox match was very good.
What was the best spot? Beach ball assault because I did it.
What was the best segment? Team TLS pre trials bonding segment that was too sexy for TV and didn’t get aired because of the censors.
What was the best line(s) of commentary? “Vhodka Black could win this whole thing!”
Best moment of the show? When Vhodka won. I laughed, I cried, I called Raisin and told him to shove it.
Most shocking moment of the show? Everything in that Knox, Strat, Helen match (even tho I wasn’t in it)
Suggestions? A jump to button on the results cause my thumb muscles aren’t that good and they got tired of scrolling after a while. Also we should replace Leo with Glum on commentary.

Finally getting around to doing this, my apologies!
I'm just gonna dive right in with my thoughts. When I first signed up for this, I had no illusions that I would be drafted. So many awesome people had signed up, and I figured "eh, might as well, what's the worst that could happen?"
Then I got drafted, looked at the field of competitors and went "ah hell, I'm totally screwed" LOL (I am self-deprecating af, don't mind me)
Legit, this is just an absolute incredible group of people and I'm still in shock that I was even considered to be a part of this awesome crew. I know the work of quite a few of these people, some I haven't had the opportunity to work with, and some that I have with various characters. Admittedly, I didn't know much about the three owners, though I had heard the names a couple of times. But when I first read the concept and ideas for this place, it intrigued me. Now that we're post Night One, I am absolutely thrilled that I took the chance.
Night One definitely set the tone, and I'm still amazed that Will took the whole thing on himself. I think I said this already somewhere, but it bears repeating - writing one or two multiple-wrestler matches can be daunting, but four in a row is just madness. Not only did he nail it, he knocked it out of the park. Lots of stories set up in and amongst the overarching theme of the Triad, which I think will help with the handler's RPs going forward in terms of putting some meat on the bones, so to speak. I know my first RP was a bit more of an exposition-fest just trying to fit Lachlan into the story, but now that I have a foothold in the story as well as a bit more conversation with the rest of my team, I've got some ideas that I hope will be more in tune with the story of the Triad and kind of vibe with my team.
Overall, I think it was a great first night to introduce the Triad, and it's only gonna get better (and freakier!) from here. I'm really pumped and happy to be part of this project, and can't wait to see how it all unfolds! ^_^
